Carbon Metrics and Procurement Workshops (Taunton, 01.02.10)

This day of two workshops was held for NHS Sustainability Network members and colleagues on Monday, 1 February in Tauton. The morning session was on 'Metrics & measures for carbon reduction'  and the afternoon session was 'Procurement for Carbon Reduction'. Presentation by Katie Hughes from Groundwork South West, from the NHS Sustainability Network meeting on 8 Septermber 2009, covering the basics of carbon calculations and measurements including: scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions, the importance of data collection, use of the defra conversion factors particularly in relation to the CRC.
