BMA supports ethical procurement

Wed, 13/04/2011

The British Medical Association (BMA) is launching a workbook to support ethical purchasing in the NHS. It will provide tools which will enable NHS organisations to devise ethical procurement policies and begin implementing, monitoring and reporting on these practices. It’s hoped the workbook will mobilise a range of stakeholders to start thinking about what they can do to bring change to the NHS. For more information and for ideas on what you can do, have a look a leaflet developed by the BMA and the Medical Fair and Ethical Trade Group - CLICK HERE TO VIEW.
