European Mobility Week

Date:
16/09/2010
Location:
International

The world's largest sustainable travel event, The European Mobility Week September 16th to 22nd, focuses on health and mobility with "Travel Smarter, Live Better" as its catchy slogan in 2010. The benefits of active travel on health are well known, people who walk and cycle regularly are fitter, live longer, feel better, and with the cost of fuel once more on the rise, they even save money too. Mobility Week is the perfect occasion to encourage people to give sustainable travel a try, and we are looking for Local Authorities, businesses, schools and universities, hospitals and NHS trusts, community groups and charities to join us in promoting smarter travel this September.
