CCG Authorisation and Sustainability (from SDU bulletin)

Emerging clinical commissioning groups are being encouraged to think about the sustainability of healthcare and the wider environmental impact of their work as they move towards authorisation. The Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) and the SDU have developed a range of tools and guidance that would help CCGs at this time including:

NHS Sustainability Network Meeting 12.10.10 - Taunton

The NHS Sustainability Network South West met in Taunton on Tuesday, 12 October 2010. As well as information and updates, presentations were given on 'Sustainable Commissioning' (by Georgina Smith from NHS Gloucestershire) and on 'Communicating Sustainability' (by Tom Gater from Futerra).
