Premises Assurance Model (From SDU bulletin)

Thu, 29/04/2010

DH has recently issued the Premises Assurance Model (PAM). It is designed to help NHS organisations report on the quality and safety of NHS premises. The NHS PAM has been developed to support the delivery of the Quality and Productivity challenge, public value and carbon reduction programmes. Although it is non-mandatory, the overarching objective of the model is to enable providers to demonstrate assurance and accountability for their premises in a clear and nationally consistent manner. It is initially focussed on the acute sector and is pre-populated with existing nationally reported information. More details available on the Dh website.
