Sustainable Development Management Plans (From SDU bulletin)

Thursday, August 12, 2010

Having a Board Approved Sustainable Development Management Plan (SDMP) is one of the cornerstones of the NHS Carbon Reduction Strategy. It supports sustainability and details how the combination of economy, environment and society are not only core to the NHS but also benefit how the NHS is run. The SDU's latest information on SDMPs summarises the policy context, and provides guidance and suggestions to assist NHS organisations to develop an effective SDMP. If you already have an SDMP in place you may wish to use this updated document to revise your plan at the next annual review. Visit the SDU website for more info
