Fit for the Future is a document which details four future scenarios which give a picture of how health and healthcare in England could differ by 2030. It’s designed to help boards and managers think about long term planning so they are able to turn their commitment to delivering sustainable healthcare into action. The SDU has now produced a resource handbook and a dramatisation of the four scenarios on DVD, which will help facilitators lead a session on this topic. The additional resources can be used with groups to work through the scenarios outlined in the ‘Fit for the Future - Scenarios for low-carbon healthcare 2030’ published in September 2009.
